Macro

We had to take a Macro shot of an object. Macro means an up close shot, but trying to get as close as possible. So being at ITAP doing Sarah and Mike's engagement photos I asked if I could have some bottle caps. I got a whole box full! They were full of color and had some cute details on them. I also tried this with a peacock feather, bubbles and flowers.

Portraits with Lighting

We had to use lighing that we had around the house to shoot a portrait of a person. I had to make sure to adjust my white balance, ISO, focal length and exposure. I did one in the day and one at night.

The Pen Tool

In photoshop we have been learning a lot of different tools. This has been one crazy packed class. Just trying to keep up with all the different things has kept me very busy!

In this class we used a vector based pen and shape tool to create shape layers over the top of a raster photo.

Here is what I made!
I took this picture

And then did this!

Out And About In Lake Saint Louis

This week in digital photo we were supposed to take pictures of landscapes. To do this we had to use our exposure compensation. With this we had to do one at the right exposure, one at +2 and one at - 2. I took advantage of life out in the sticks aka Lake Saint Louis. I got up early on Sunday and took a 2 mile car ride around and found all these little places that had such great details, colors, and open lands.
